About Lakewood Plumbing

We like to get to know our customers beyond just fixing a furnace, boiler or plumbing problem. Many residential customers have become good friends. Because we also do commercial plumbing and heating, we've developed lots of mutually beneficial business relationships as well.

Hi and welcome. I'm Torrey Cosgrove. Lynnette Salter and I have owned Lakewood Plumbing since 1997. The business has actually been around for almost forty years. Lynnette has a mechanical engineering degree and my degree is in civil engineering. More importantly, we have close to 40 years combined plumbing, heating and construction business experience. We both work full time in the business so, the first thing you should know is . . . if you ever have any concerns or questions, you can talk directly to the owners. |

We’re a full service residential and commercial plumbing, heating and air conditioning contractor. We do everything from minor repair work to installation of furnaces, boilers, water heaters and even replacement of sewer lines. |

The Lakewood Plumbing Team
We have a great team from office and dispatching to our highly trained technicians. Because of our business philosophy and the range of services we offer, we’re pretty particular about who we hire. We also work hard at keeping our entire team happy and busy. Office personnel, warehouse staff and dispatchers are on duty from
7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. You can get in touch with us anytime, though, because we offer 24-hour,
7-days/week
emergency service.
You are, of course, most concerned about the people who come out to fix your plumbing or install a new water heater, furnace or boiler. I know from customer feedback that’s where Lakewood Plumbing excels. Of course, I admit to being a little biased, but I’m convinced we have the best crew of heating and plumbing technicians in Colorado.
One reason is Lynnette and I are strong believers in licensing, specialty training and certifications.
Training, Certifications and Specialties
There are a lot of variables and technical challenges in the plumbing, heating and air conditioning business. To provide the exemplary service and technical expertise you deserve, it’s vitally important we keep up to date on equipment and technology changes.
The types of training taken and number of certifications achieved by our team are always evolving, but let me give you some examples. All our technicians are Colorado licensed. Most have also achieved a Master License through an extensive studying, practicing and testing process. They learn all the required permits and code and spend countless hours perfecting their craft. We have technicians certified on boiler installation and maintenance, Rinnai tankless water heaters, refrigeration, flexible gas pipe and high performance furnaces to name a few.
North American Technician Excellence (NATE)NATE is the most recognized certification for technicians in our industry, which includes heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R). To be certified, technicians must pass both a core and a specialty exam. Our technicians are either NATE certified or working toward it. |

More Resources
Our business has it’s seasonal fluctuations so we always have backup for our field technicians. We may use the plumbers local union hall or call upon well known, reputable specialty services for projects like sewer service, drain cleaning or utility work.
Colorado Front Range
By the way, folks are sometimes misled by our name. We’re not just in Lakewood, Colorado. We have customers in all parts of the metro Denver area and literally serve the entire front range - from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins. We service the foothills and mountain communities and ski areas as well. Being in business as Lakewood Plumbing for almost 40 years, well, it didn’t seem like a good idea to change the name.
